The House Trailer: House Industries Rocks On
There goes the neighborhood: See House Industries, The Trailer.
Electroluminescence? Ohhh yessss! They've done it again. Those madcap geniuses at House Industries have ve found yet another way to package the art and craft of font making in way that cannot fail to attract attention and popular acclaim. House Industries: The Trailer. Andy Cruz directs. Carlos Alejandro films. Some cool woman sings. Chalk dust flies. Horsehair paint brushes unspool clean, sharp lines. When do these guys do real paying work? Here is House's own typically hatted monkey chattering PT Barnum-esque description:
Cue up a kaleidoscope of House Industries techniques, substrates, disciplines and muscle memory compressed into high-definition pixels and actively matrixed through modulated electroluminescence with an audio lesson from The Bird and The Bee. Many thanks to Inara George and Greg Kurstin for loaning us their Polite Dance Song (under license from EMI). The House Industries trailer is directed by Andy Cruz and filmed by Carlos Alejandro.
