A Problem of Vermin Proportions
While I was covering the AIGA Pivot conference for Neenah Paper last October, I was alerted via email to a Vermin problem at Eleven19.
Thankfully, these Vermin were quickly apprehended by some of the best security in the business.
Bounty hunters…
Superheroes…
Military specialists…
But all of the security help we could muster was only able to hold the Vermin for so long, and then off into the world they disappeared.
If you have any information about the missing Vermin (or would like to order your own to share), contact Vermin.me immediately.
UPDATE: The Eleven19 Vermin have all been spotted, but are still at large across the United States.
Vermin A found by Ben Lueders in San Francisco, California.
Vermin B found by Donovan Beery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Vermin C located by Jason Tselentis in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Vermin is an interactive/social/design/art worldwide exhibit, and is the brainchild of Omaha artist Jamie Burmeister. The letter that came with our Vermin specifically said, “Leave the vermin. This can be hard because of the bond you may have made with the little guy. Leaving the vermin for others to discover and enjoy is fun and what the project is all about.” He’s right, we miss those little guys, but we know setting them loose was all for the best.

A Matter of Perspective
